Founded in 2024, Cue the Record is a New York City-based organization dedicated to uplifting and preserving musical and cultural history. Through high-fidelity vinyl listening sessions, educational programming, and artist-led conversations, we create spaces where people gather around the music that shapes us — who we’ve been and who we’re becoming.

Our programming often highlights how music moves through communities, preserves histories, and builds identity across time. Some gatherings are contemplative, creating space for music to work on us without distraction. Others spark conversation, debate, and discovery across generations, backgrounds, and neighborhoods. All of them rest on the same belief: when communities engage with their own cultural history together, something deeper happens. Music has always been how we recognize each other across time. This is where we practice that recognition.
